Winning!

Life in this world is like an ashtray where each soul is like a cigaratte spending his life and burning like ash in the ashtray of the world.
In such a life a ray of hope comes from those winning moments of life where a person achieves something for which he strives to achieve.
From the time a baby takes his first step (or even before that),he/she is made to learn about the world and somehow the baby learns or is built into him that winning is the most important part of life. Slowly the child grows and starts identifying his/her sorrows or happiness with winning.
I kinda like this association of sorrows/happiness with winning/losing.If not for this there would be no competitiveness spirit in this world and the world would be a dull place to live in.
Winning not only means a success materialistically but also the kind where a person get's happiness through helping others (a sense of win).
I have had many ups and downs in life.Winning after a series of downs makes a win even sweeter.But,it kind of aquires a sense of pathos in it.You are kind of confused as to ,you should be happy for your win or sad because it took so long for this cherished moment.
